How to connect MEXC
On MEXC
- Log in to MEXC and open the API management page (mexc.com/user/openapi).
- Give the new key view-only access — no trading or withdrawals.
- Click Create and complete the security verification.
- Copy the Access Key and the Secret Key — MEXC shows the secret only once.
In PnLTrack
- Create a free PnLTrack account with email or Google — or log in.
- Open Settings → API keys and click Add key.
- Pick MEXC, then the market: FUTURES or SPOT.
- Name the connection, paste the Access Key into the API key field and the Secret Key below it, and click Connect.
- Done: trades sync automatically, about every minute.
Is it safe?
PnLTrack uses your MEXC key only to read trade history, balances and market data — never to trade, withdraw or transfer. Keys are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a separate encryption key derived for each user. A read-only key is all PnLTrack needs.
MEXC: frequently asked questions
Where do I find the MEXC Access Key?
Access Key is what MEXC calls the public part of an API key. You get it together with the Secret Key right after creating a key on the API management page. In PnLTrack, paste it into the API key field.
I lost my MEXC Secret Key. What now?
MEXC displays the secret only once, so create a new key. Then, in Settings → API keys, delete the old connection and add the new key — your synced trades stay in the journal unless you choose to delete them too.
Can I sync both MEXC futures and spot?
Yes. Each connection covers one market: add the key once with FUTURES and once with SPOT. Every connection counts toward your plan’s exchange limit (1 on FREE, up to 10 on TRADER).
Does the MEXC key need trading permission?
No. Read access is enough: PnLTrack only reads trade history, balances and market data and never places orders, withdraws or transfers.
