How to connect Propr
On Propr
- Log in to Propr.
- Open Settings and generate your API key — it starts with pk_live_.
- Copy the key. Propr issues one key per user, and generating a new one replaces the old one.
In PnLTrack
- Create a free PnLTrack account with email or Google — or log in.
- Open Settings → API keys and click Add key.
- Pick Propr — the market is set automatically.
- Name the connection, paste the pk_live_… key and click Connect. There is no secret field.
- Done: trades sync automatically, about every minute.
Is it safe?
Propr issues one API key per user with full account access — there is no read-only mode. PnLTrack uses it only to read your trades, positions and balances, never to place orders, withdraw or transfer, and stores it encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a separate encryption key derived for each user. If the key ever leaks, regenerate it in Propr’s Settings.
Propr: frequently asked questions
Where do I get my Propr API key?
In the Propr app: log in at app.propr.xyz, open Settings and generate your API key. It starts with pk_live_, and Propr gives one key per user.
Can I make the Propr key read-only?
No — Propr keys always have full account access. PnLTrack only reads with it and never places orders. If you regenerate the key in Propr, delete the old connection in Settings → API keys and add the new one.
Can I keep challenge trades out of my statistics?
Yes. In Settings → API keys, open the menu of your Propr connection and turn on “Don’t count challenges”: trades from paper (challenge) accounts disappear from the journal, statistics and dashboard.
Do I need a secret key or passphrase for Propr?
No. Propr works with a single key, so PnLTrack shows just one field for it.
